The Inkamana High School is in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is attached to the Benedictine Abbey, one of the houses of the St Ottilien Congregation. It currently has 200 boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18, all in boarding houses.
Despite its excellent academic record and its first-class choir, it struggles to provide adequate resources in a rural area plagued by poverty. Priority needs include renovation of the school hall, creating a proper playing field, purchasing a minibus and shelter for it, acquiring some second-hand computers and extending the range of books in the library.
